“Rented the villa from 2nd of January 2022 to 8th of January 2022 for a group of 13 people to celebrate my birthday. Can only say that the villa, the experience, the hospitality and the friendliness that we were met with is the best that I have ever had on Airbnb and even most hotels. The villa is even better than the pictures, with amazing views and more lounge and seating areas than I can count. It is very private and the pool area is great for spending lazy days. The bedrooms are large with nice beds and all with en-suite bathrooms, very clean and great working AC for everyone. Caran is the best host that I have had on AirBnB so far, very friendly, helpful and above all responsive and great at communicating and answering any questions we had. Bo and San, who live at the house are the most amazing people. I highly recommend eating as many breakfasts and dinners that you can at the house because the food and the service is just amazing. Bo was incredibly helpful in recommending things to do and even organising some shopping and massage for us. Hands down this villa is incredible and I speak for everyone in our group when I say our stay will be a memory for life.”

“Baan Chuddanip is amazing! Before our trip even began Melanie and Caran made every effort to answer all my questions and concerns as this was our first time in Thailand. They often responded within a few hours. They are the most honest Airbnb hosts I have ever encountered! With insightful recommendations as well. They even helped with airport transportation. Upon arrival Ponti and Bo met us with tropical drinks. The pictures don’t really do this villa any justice as it was way more beautiful in person! The infinity pool over looks an incredible view which includes the sunset every night! Each room was spacious and clean and included a bathroom which had good running water from each shower! We had Ponti cook us breakfast most days and each time it was delicious. We asked for a large dinner for ~20 guests and she made an incredible feast. We cannot thank her enough for her efforts and making our stay so comfortable. Bo provided us with good restaurants and places to hang out in town. The villa is close to several parts of Koh Samui, often only takes a short 10-20 min drive from the villa. Ponti also arranged masseuses to come by and give us Thai massages right next to the pool! We didn’t get a chance to ride any scooters but they are easily provided if asked. I cannot think of 1 thing that could make this villa any better than it already is. I cannot wait to come back! “How absolutely incredible my week was at Chuddanip! Ponti and Bo are true treasures. Ponti's food is by far the best we had in all of Thailand. Her advice in everything was spot on. From getting us taxis, packing us towels, giving advice on where to go, all of it a beautiful addition to our stay. Bo as well was a delight. His gardening so gorgeous. And his suggestions on areas to go as well were perfect. They were a true delight and never in our way or overbearing. Gorgeous souls I hope to encounter again. The house was everything I had imagined and beyond! True what others have said it is very hard to want to leave this house. It is comfortable, clean and spacious. There is no want of anything all of the details are there. The artwork is incredible. We loved it so much we asked Ponti to take us to were some was bought and ended up shipping some beautiful carvings home. An absolute beautiful house with the most accommodating caretakers. “12 adults and 2 kids in one house for Christmas and New Year. Could have been a disaster but it was absolutely PERFECT! We never felt crowded as the villa was spacious and well set up. The pool was lovely and the views from the villa were unbeatable. When we managed to drag ourselves out of the villa it was a short walk downhill to shops and restaurants and if we didn't feel like walking back up it was easy to find a taxi or jeep. Another highlight was Ponti's cooking. She cooked for us most nights and it was an amazing feast every single time. Staff were great, the owner was communicative, accommodating and easy to deal with. We will remember this holiday for a long time to come. Can highly recommend!”

"Baan Chuddanip perfectly combines luxury and a kick back vibe. It is clean and classy, while still being family-friendly. We stayed here as guests at a wedding, which took place at the villa itself, and felt immediately relaxed knowing we could socialise when we wished, but have our own private space when we were in need of some downtime. Each en-suite bedroom was as tastefully furnished and comfortable as the next, and the views from the terraces utterly sublime. This was the perfect location for a reunion of friends and offered something for everyone. Needless to say that it was a divine setting for a wedding! "

"Caran’s place was so perfect for our group of 10 that we were fighting the desire to stay ‘home’ everyday instead of getting out amongst it in Koh Samui. There are so many beautifully decorated & well appointed spaces to spend time in that we never felt crowded during our 12 day visit. Our ages ranged from 11 to 53 years and we all agreed it was just right! Personally, I loved the luscious planting on the terraces. The house is up a steep hill in a gorgeous estate with spectacular views, peace, total privacy and seclusion from the hustle. It is still close enough to walk to Choeng Mon beach with local shops & restaurants but the walk home is not for the lazy ;) The pool is large enough for all 10 of us, perfectly clean with floaty toys & a slide. There is with plenty of shade in the bar nearby to enjoy the spectacular sunset. We enjoyed the table tennis & tennis, music & movies Ponti is a great tourism resource, gifted cook providing excellent breakfasts and delicious Thai dinners. She is a willing taxi driver, efficient house keeper and cheerful presence in the house who made us feel welcome & relaxed. Although Caran was abroad during our stay she communicated well & I felt if there was anything I wanted to ask it was no trouble. All in all it was nothing short of WONDERFUL!"

"Sitting on top of a hill, Baan Chuddanip is stunning, with views from the infinity edge pool across the north of the island and across the water to Koh Phangan. When we arrived, the girls took no time to launch themselves ecstatically down the slide into the water, where they stayed for the next six days, only coming out occasionally for meals, ice cream and long after dark to go to bed and dream about the pool. Meanwhile, we staked our claim on the best bedroom with its elegant four-poster bed, two sliding glass walls and connecting poolside sala area.
All of the interior spaces have been decorated with expanses of colour, comfortable furniture, interesting artifacts and art from around Thailand. The flowers and plants are lovingly tended to by their gardener and helper Bo. Blooming pink bougainvillea and other flowers edge the open and covered terraces. Air roots dangle from one level to another adding a frayed edge to the shady areas. You can hang out together in a group or choose your own pocket of privacy from many over the three levels.
Ponti cooked us several delicious meals, which were all great value for money. This place is ideal for a group of 6-14. You may want to rent a vehicle to get around but it has everything you need for the perfect stay."

"Baan Chuddanip was a great villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing and helpful at all times. Ponti (house manager) was a great cook and we enjoyed all the meals that she prepared for us. Ponti organised everything from hire cars, massages, grocery shopping...pretty much anything we asked for and the turn around time was almost immediate. Caran (owner) was extremely helpful and accommodating to our situation and gave us some great tips about the island. Communication was easy and the response time was great from the get go.
We had a total of 15 guests and I was a little concerned that we would be in each others faces all the time but this wasn't the case as the property has quite a few different places were you could go and relax on your own. The views were out of this world. The pool was amazing, the facilities fantastic. The house was cleaned on a daily basis, so it was always nice to come back to the villa after a long day out to a freshly cleaned room and villa. If their was one negative it would be the walk up to the villa, the hill is quite steep but other than that everything else was perfect. Thanks for an amazing experience!"
